So maybe we aren't the most politically correct families

This weekend, our niece, Grace, came to visit us.  It worked out pretty well.  We met her parents half way to make the exchange.  So it's about an hour drive for each of us.  The whole family was in the car to take her back to the meeting point in Lafayette.  Christopher was excited because we were going to be by the Wabash River.  Grace wondered why the Wabash River was important.  So Christopher started to explain based on a report he did on Indiana last year while we still lived in Minnesota.  He started something like this...

"Well there was this battle that happened between the Indians and the humans...."

Wait, what?  The Indians and the humans?  I think we've got it all sorted out now but if you hear Christopher making some mention of Indians not being human, just quietly correct him.  :-)

What? No toilet paper

As were getting ready to move to the new house, I was gathering stuff up to pack in the car so it would be readily available in the new house.  As I was packing toilet paper, Payton said, "They wouldn't sell us a house with no toilet paper!"  Yes, honey, they would and they will.  The joys of a brand new house.

A New Level of Waiting

Took Payton into the dressing room to try on a dress.  Must have been too much for Christopher to handle.  We came out to find him waiting for us like this on top of the benches.
